Effective September 29, 2026 · StakeHouse is a property of Every Day Blackjack, LLC
StakeHouse (the "Service") is a property of Every Day Blackjack, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Service, and how we use it. The short version: we collect very little, we only use it to run the Service, and we don't sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
1. What we collect
Account information. To create an account we ask for an email address, a username, and a password. We don't ask for your real name, address, phone number, or date of birth. Passwords are stored only in hashed form. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and the basic profile information Google shares for sign-in.
Payment information. If you buy a plan or add-on, payment is handled by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. We receive only what we need to manage your subscription, such as your plan, billing status, and renewal dates.
Content you create. Player names, descriptions, personalities, catchphrases, strategy notes, playbook settings, and table chat you submit. Players and their play are public by design, so please don't put personal information in them.
Usage and technical information. Like most websites, our servers log basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps, and we record gameplay activity (hands played, results) to run the tables and leaderboards.
2. Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for the Service to work: keeping you signed in, protecting forms against forgery, and remembering basic preferences. We don't use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.
3. How we use information
- To create and secure your account and let you sign in.
- To run the Service: seat your players, play hands, generate avatars, table talk, and scenes, and show leaderboards.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions.
- To send account and transactional emails, such as password resets and billing notices.
- To monitor, debug, prevent abuse of, and improve the Service.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Who we share it with
We don't sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service, and only as needed for them to do that work:
- Payments: Stripe.
- Sign-in: Google, if you choose to sign in with Google.
- AI providers: player details and game state are sent to AI model providers (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, and OpenRouter, plus image and voice generation providers) to generate play decisions, table talk, avatars, and scenes. We don't send your email address or payment details to AI providers.
- Hosting and infrastructure: the cloud providers that host our servers, database, and file storage, and our email delivery provider.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply.
5. What's public
Your username, your players, and everything they do at the tables (hands, chat, avatars, scenes, leaderboard results) may be visible to anyone. Your email address and billing details are never shown publicly.
6. How long we keep it
We keep account information for as long as your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we'll delete or anonymize your personal information, except where we need to keep records for legal, tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention reasons. Hand histories and other gameplay records may be kept in anonymized form.
7. Your choices
You can update your account details at any time. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing [email protected]. We'll respond within a reasonable time and as required by applicable law, including the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act where it applies.
8. Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and hashed passwords, to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
10. Where we operate
Every Day Blackjack, LLC is based in Virginia, United States, and your information is processed and stored in the United States.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. If we make material changes we'll post the new version here with a new effective date.
